No two people are the same, and achieving your goals quickly and efficiently takes personalized planning. Considerations for your level of training experience, sex, age, possible physical/medical limitations, and time constraints. Your training and nutrition programs must adapt as you progress.

Many fad worksouts make unrealistic claims, like 5-minute abs. This doesn’t consider where you are starting on your training journey.  Nor does it set realistic goals that you can achieve because there are no specific, measurable, and achievable milestones. Everyone has a busy life these days. It is easy to get off track. This tends to lead to extreme fluctuations in the consistency of training and or nutrition. This often leads to frustration, fatigue, burnout, and giving up. Understanding your lifestyle and planning around it allows long-term habits to flourish.

Overtraining

This mistake usually comes after a prolonged gym hiatus. The guilt of having to make up for the lost time. This only leads to unbearable muscle soreness and discouragement and increases your risk for injury. “No Pain No Gain!” It is not always true. Too much pain and no one wants to even see the gym again. Learning how to get back in the gym correctly makes your body crave the workouts, not resist them.
